Sabang is a typical fisherman’s village located in the west coast of Palawan’s island. Close this village there’s a real natural treasure. It’s a cave named Underground River. It is a part of a National Park and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1971. Today it is selected amongst the New 7 Wonders of Nature … La Venta has been exploring this cave for 20 years and has covered surveys with overall length of over 30 km … In 2007 and 2011 I had the privilege to explore and document this natural beauty with my photos … many of those pictures are in the book “The River of the Swallow” of La Venta.
